The Week of Halloween...Part 2

Thursday, October 30, 2008

Dustin & me at the Rally in CoMo! We were among 43,000 other supporters!
I realize that these photos aren't the greatest, but....I've taken pictures of our next President...have you?!

(I promise that he's there...see the guy in red? go over to the left about an inch!)

Don't forget to vote on November 4th! (Unless, of course, you're planning on voting for McCain!)

Go ahead....comment, comment, comment!!!

You guys ROCK! I am so jealous -- I wanted to go, but I was so tired from being sickish that I couldn't bring myself to do it. We voted yesterday via absentee ballot, so the DEED IS DONE! (Now go and comment on MY election-related blog post!!!)

The newscasters were all using the columns at Jesse Hall in their newscasts the next morning. Had I known you were there, I'd have looked for you (lol).

We vote by mail here in Oregon. We get our ballots in mid-October, fill them out here at home and then mail them, drop them off at a ballot box outside county building or take them down to the elections office. They have to be there by 8:00 pm on election night. We usually take ours on election day, but this year we voted early and delivered them last week. I miss going to the polling place on election day.

Tweetie-You wouldn't have seen us in a million years...even if you were looking with night-vision goggles like the sniper men on the tops of the buildings. We were behind the press entrance and thought for about 10 minutes that we weren't going to see anything because of the busses that parked right in our view. The bus drivers finally moved them because everyone was screaming "Move that Bus!". I didn't hear a word that Jay Nixon had to say because of the whole bus debacle!
